From the Vault: What Buying a Baker Means We’re going to blow your mind: At Baker Drivetrain, we’re not a fan of knockoff transmissions. It’s not just because they’re an affront to quality, dependability, and everything American manufacturing stands for. It’s not even because offshore drivetrain products are so disposable they might as well have Huggies on the label. It’s deeper than that. Knockoff transmissions are a slap in the face of an American art form: The culture of American V-Twin motorcycling. In the latest edition of our From the Vault feature, we zip back to 2006 to see Bert tell it like it is about imposters and how speaking with your wallet can help preserve the spirit of American motorcycle culture. From the Vault: WWBW? It’s Like a Magic Boner Pill At Baker Drivetrain, we are gearheads who live and breathe making innovative drivetrain products each and every day. In this industry, you see a lot of people who dip their toes in, around the block once on their uncle’s Harley and are ready to change to the world.
Hell, you see a lot of companies spring up, especially overseas, that see nothing but dollar signs and the bottom line but have zero commitment to the culture. They crash what once a pure and fun party with garbage products and non-existent support. Here’s the BAKER difference: We don’t just show up to the party when we hear it’s a rager. We run the party. We’ve been doing it every day and we have no plans to stop – ever. In our latest From the Vault feature, we flash back to 2008, where Bert draws a connection between pubescent morning wood and the state of the American motorcycle scene. You have got to read this one, so let’s dive in: Gerry's BAKERy: Classic Case Of All-In To Go All-Out... A Classic Case Of All-In To Go All-Out...and he's cashing in on all he can. Gerry wrote us a blurb about his experience so far in this endeavor that he committed to and we thought we'd share with you. sports equipment and guns for sale WE FINANCE= BAD CREDIT OKAY.

Their 224,000-square-foot (20,800 m2) factory was located in Fort Worth, Texas, and housed the complete manufacturing process under a single roof. Although most (305) parts for the bikes were made in-house, such as the seats and wheels, all American IronHorse motorcycles were built with S&S engines and were assembled in-house. In Spring 2008, American Ironhorse ceased production on all cycles and most company assets were liquidated at auction.[2] William (Bill) Rucker sold his 45% interest in the company due to disagreements with the then current board of directors who desired to take the company public and Rucker wanted to keep the company private. AIH over the next 4 years had 5 CEOs attempting to replicate the success with Rucker enjoyed during his tenure, the final CEO Buck Hendricson run company during second bankruptcy after purchase by Textron Inc in bankruptcy court. Textron liquidated company in 2008 due to lack of operating capitol and a solid business plan to capture the failing custom bike market in 2008.

At any time, we house and care for 350 dogs, which is what space allows.  We spay or neuter all the dogs who arrive, and provide them with medical attention they need.  The next step is re-homing the dogs, which takes time and effort.  Many dogs will stay at ARFhouse for life, but we want those who can find love and care in a home environment to have the best chance to do so.  Read More About Us..... Adopt a DogThe ARFhouse Adoption Program allows some of the ARFhouse animals to be available for adoption to suitable owners. Since those animals which are not adopted will stay at ARFhouse for life, ARFhouse works hard at insuring that a prospective owner has the level of commitment necessary to properly care for a dog.
Gunnar (to the left) is one of our adoptable dogs awaiting their new home.   Visit our Available Dogs Page to meet all of  his friends. Be-A-PalThe Be-A-Pal Program lets you sponsor the dog of your choice at ARFhouse. The dogs in our "Be-A-Pal" program are a combination of dogs that may not be suitable for a family environment, have special health needs that require frequent attention, or are residents of our Senior Sanctuary. For $20 a month we will send you periodic photos of the dog you choose to sponsor. Through your support and ARFhouse's caring volunteers, these dogs are given a second chance at a good life.Click HERE to see how you can help these very special dogs. Gabriella Elizabeth Mejia is a Chicago based artist who has generously offered to donate 10% of the cost of any artwork that is requested by a supporter of ARFhouse.
Gabriella works in a variety of mediums, using  vibrant and dark colors to contrast values. Her website states: "I work meticulously adding the right amount of detail and patterns to engage the viewer by sending them on a journey within the artwork and the synergy of the different patterns and mediums create an overall unity that intrigues the viewer. In doing so, I tap into my emotions. It allows me to self develop, understand, love, and transform my thoughts and feelings. In essence I get to learn more about myself, my struggles, fears, joys and fulfillments by releasing them onto an empty white canvas. As I achieve this, my goal is to inspire and also subtlety transform the viewer. When people see my paintings I wish for them to see the beauty of what is in front of them because in essence that is a reflection of their inner beauty. I want to invoke in them a feeling of wonderment, hope, because in this world where many people go through similar experiences, we tend to feel all alone in it.
