Sad, because I have lost the love of my life. My best of friends. Angry, because she was taken from me, with little that i could do or control of the circumstances. Blessed, because I was one of many souls who was touched by one of the most loving persons on this earth Words cannot even begin to express all the lives that Kimberly Jo Anne Larsen Goodwin has impacted. The legacy that she has put into motion for thousands will continue for many many more, uplifting their lives to inspire empowerment from within. Her ability to speak with compassion and wisdom would calm you and leave you feeling loved and wanting more. She has filled many roles including, but not limited to, Mother, Sister, Wife, Auntie,Teacher, Grandmother (aka MIMI), Great-grandmother, Friend, Companion, In-law (Out-law -a variation of in-law, you know who you are), Girlfriend, Animal Lover, Biker, Artist, Crafting Expert, and lastly Organ Donor just to name a few.
Sunday morning December 4th Kim suffered from a severe asthma attack leading to cardiac arrest. Myself and my Family have been moved by all the Phone calls, Text Messages, Prayers, Visitors, Flowers, Cards, Meals, Shared Memories, and (I don’t use this term too much) AMAZING Facebook Posts that have been shared by everyone. We will be holding a “Celebration of Life” after the upcoming holidays and New Year, looking at February 19th as a possible date as we are still trying to secure a venue. Best I figure he is on his last journey. If there is one thing that Mike did best, it would be planning and executing the many journeys he has conquered. If one would mention the word ride, his ears would perk up and he'd say,"Where you want to go?" He would know the best time and way to get there and if you had a GPS he would route... it for you. So it is now time that we, his friends and family take a journey to one of his favorite destinations.
