For over three decades the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race has been the maddest, baddest and biggest event on the UK off-road calendar, and it continues to grow each year. Of course the action packed racing, which pitches professional and amateur riders against each other on what is easily the toughest sand track anywhere in the world, is the main spectacle but it's far from the only attraction. RHL Activities have worked tirelessly in recent years to transform the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race from a simple race into a truly family event, with entertainment for all ages. Topping the bill this year will be world famous stunt rider, Robbie Maddison. In recent years the Australian has become a household name, having backflipped over Tower Bridge in London, jumped up and off the Arc de Triomphe in front of Paris Las Vegas, jumped a motorcycle off a ski jump in the ‘Drop in’ video and most recently received over 23 million YouTube views in his video ‘Pipe Dream’ where he rode a KTM motorcycle across a surf wave in Tahiti.

Joining Maddison will be fellow countryman The Kangaroo Kid, who never fails to keep a crowd on the edge of their seats with his Quad stunt show. For those who prefer their entertainment slightly slower but more intricate, trials riding legend and 12 times World Champion Dougie Lampkin will be making a welcome return to the beach to take on a trials course designed to test even his skill! Lampkin won't be the only one displaying his trials riding prowess, as Zero Gravity will also be on hand to show everyone that anything Dougie can do on a trials bike they can also do on a mountain bike and even a BMX! Add in a fun fair, an extensive retail area, numerous food outlets and even a fully fledged pub and the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race really is a family event.
