I'm going to to be spending some time in Waikiki and want to get some leather motorbike gear. Can anyone tell me where I should go for choice and a good price? There is a Harley Davidson shop right in Waikiki, on Kalakaua Ave. Harley Davidson has a few shops in Waikiki at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Hotel on the Kalakaua Avenue side next to the Cookie Company, one in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and another at the Diamond Head Tower at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel. There is also a Boutique store and lots of Harley bikes on display for sale at 600 Puuloa Road near the airport. Corner of Puuloa and N. Nimitz Hwy.I don't have it yet though. Is there anywhere that does slightly cheaper, not necessarily Harley Davidson? Not sure, but I'd expect so. What you WILL find is a lot of stuff at good prices that you'll never see for offer at home. When we checked out the HD Motorclothes stores in Waikiki the first time we went in '05, We were so amazed at the cheap prices that were buying stuff like we were Charlie Sheen in a nosecandy store!

Ended up with a HD Aloha shirt for every day of the week, haha! The HD stuff was really cheap compared to Oz prices. The shop at the Roayal Hawaiian shoping centre is also a very downgraded example of what it used to be there. I looked more like a bankruptcy cleaing house last time we were there. Still good stuff, but not the range and the shop itself was really povvo compared to how it used to be. The shops at the Marriot (east) and the HHV (west) are much more professional in appearance. Don't miss out on a visit to the parent store beside the Nimitz Hwy. Plenty of bikes, accessories, etc to check out. Alao ask to see the owner's private collection of bikes. It's in the top floor and a staff member will need to accompany you up there. You can see some of the bikes from the highway as you come in to Waikiki from the airport. Only place you'll see a custom 3 cyl Dyna HD or a 5 cyl 2 stroke Kwacka. Here's another option if you don't want HD clothes, Forgot to mention that you can get to the one on Nimitz Hwy by THe Bus. There used to be a Harley Davidson shop in the royal Hawaiian shopping center, prolly still around or nearby.
